I'm super excited about two upcoming Workshops I will be teaching!
April 2nd and 3rd will be held at White Light Studio in San Antonio. Day one will show step by step setups for beauty, fashion and catalogue. I will be teaching how to effectively control the light quality, direction, and shape from strobe lighting by incorporating soft boxes, grids, reflectors and bounce techniques for more professional results. We will also explore which lighting techniques are best suited to a particular subject and scene. We will work with professionals in the industry including two fashion models, makeup artist, and other creative team members. I think you learn more if you are part of the process, so we will work together as a team to set up the lighting, but all participants will have individual time to shoot. Day two will show you step by step how to setup a digital lab in your mac computer and I will give you the inside information to my workflow technics using Photoshop and Bridge. Topics will include: Renaming files, metadata, copyright, color correction, archiving, actions, digital lab, and workflow. Participants will work on their images from the day before. This training experience will cover all aspects from pre to postproduction. Participants will improve their lighting skills and execute, edit and deliver a successful fashion shoot. I will also go over participants work that they bring or work on their website.
June 18th will be held in Honolulu, Hawaii. This one day Workshop will go through all aspects of photography. Participants will learn many of my tricks in this reality Workshop. We will cover everything that I am teaching in day one of my San Antonio Workshop and we will work as a team as well as shooting individually. We will be working with creative professional from the industry including two fashion models, makeup artist, and other creative team members. Plus, what a great reason for you to go to the fantastic island of Oahu!
